SFX PCB's flexible PCBs support up to 8 layers for mass production and up to 30 layers in low-volume configurations. Multilayer Rigid-Flex PCBs support up to 20 total layers, with the flexible section accommodating up to 12 layers. Layer count is selected based on circuit complexity, signal density, and application requirements.

Our flexible PCBs primarily use Polyimide (PI) copper-clad laminate, chosen for its exceptional thermal stability, mechanical durability, and flexibility. Polyester (PET) is available for cost-sensitive applications. Rigid-flex designs incorporate FR4 for the rigid sections. Premium material brands including DuPont, Shengyi, Taiflex, and Rogers are available depending on application requirements.

Available surface finishes include ENIG (Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold), OSP (Organic Solderability Preservative), HASL Lead-free, Immersion Silver, Immersion Tin, ENEPIG, Soft Gold, and Gold Plating. The appropriate finish is selected based on solderability requirements, environmental exposure, signal performance needs, and RoHS compliance considerations.

Yes. SFX PCB holds RoHS and REACH compliance certifications and offers lead-free surface treatment options including HAL Lead-free and ENIG finishes. All products can be manufactured to meet RoHS compliance requirements.
