MCPCB LED Plates

Aluminum core MCPCBs offer a cost-effective solution with thermal conductivity of 1–3 W/MK, suitable for most LED lighting applications. Copper core MCPCBs deliver significantly higher thermal conductivity — up to 400 W/MK — making them ideal for extreme heat dissipation requirements in high-power or high-density LED systems where performance is the priority over cost.

MCPCB LED plates are available in copper foil weights ranging from 1 oz to 10 oz (35μm to 350μm). Standard options include 0.5–1 oz for general applications, medium (2–4 oz) for moderate power, heavy (5–10 oz) for high-current designs, and ultra-heavy (10–20 oz) configurations for extreme power applications.

Available surface finishes include HASL (Hot Air Solder Leveling), ENIG (Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold), OSP (Organic Solderability Preservative), Immersion Silver, and Immersion Tin. The right finish depends on your soldering process, shelf-life requirements, and whether fine-pitch components are involved in the LED assembly.

Aluminum Base PCBs are available in thicknesses from 0.5mm to 5.0mm, while Metal Core PCBs offer standard metal backing plate thicknesses of 1.0mm, 1.5mm, and 3.2mm. Copper Core PCBs are available in 1mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm, and 2mm standard options. Custom thicknesses can be accommodated based on design requirements.
