The ceramic substrate's high thermal conductivity makes it ideal wherever heat dissipation is critical.

SFX PCB offers Thick Film PCBs on two ceramic substrates: Aluminum Nitride (ALN) and Aluminum Oxide/Alumina (Al2O3). ALN provides superior thermal conductivity of ≥170 W/(m·K) for the most demanding heat dissipation requirements, while Al2O3 offers ≥24 W/(m·K) with excellent electrical insulation and is a cost-effective choice for many high-frequency and power applications.

Available surface finishes include ENIG (Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold), ENEPIG (Electroless Nickel Electroless Palladium Immersion Gold), and Immersion Silver. Each finish offers distinct advantages: ENIG provides reliable solderability and corrosion resistance, ENEPIG is ideal for wire bonding and fine-pitch components, and Immersion Silver offers excellent conductivity at a competitive cost.
